Omschrijving
Throwing a ball into the basket, passing a ball over 6 meters, controlling the ball with a fake move, taking the speed out of a ball when catching it, it all appeals to the kinetic differentiation ability.
This is a movement differentiation in areas such as distances, forces, timing, velocities and the form in which is being moved. This ability is a movement differentiation in the areas of distance, force, timing, speed and the way of moving. Actions involving kinetic differentiation ability include aiming a ball at a basket, hitting a tennis ball into the service court, passing a ball over a distance of 6 meters, controlling a ball during a fake and receiving a ball.
It is the ability to couple sub-movements in a precise and economic way so that they result in an efficient complete movement. for this reason the kinetic differentiation ability overlaps with all coordinative abilities.
The kinetic differentiation capacity has a sensitive phase for boys and girls between 6 and 7 years and later between 10 and 11 years.
It is therefore interesting to train sport specific technical actions during these periods.
