Set shot

A setshot is suitable for shooting from larger distances. This type of shot is also used when taking a free throw or a three point shot.

Teaching points for a setshot

• Body must be in balance, before and after the shot
• Concentrated and relaxed
• Eye contact with the rim
• Shoot with a large bow
• Follow the shot for the rebound
