Two footed jumpstop

Omschrijving

A two footed jump stop means that the player comes to a standstill with two feet. So first one foot and then the other foot. This is in contrast to a one-stop or jump stop where the player comes to a standstill with two feet at a time. A tweet stop can be performed after a dribble or after a pass

Executing a two footed jump stop

  • The ball handler picks up the ball after the last bounce and then lands with his right and the left foot
  • Bent knees, body upright and keeping an overview on the court
  • The ball is brought to the chest with both hands, the elbows stand out to protect the ball.
