Omschrijving
Performing a stationary dribble:
- feet point forward, foot opposite the dribble hand more forward
- The lower the dribble is performed, the more through the knees
- Body weight is distributed on both feet
- Body remains almost upright
- Head has been set up to oversee the field (split vision)
- Dribbling arm is bent and close to the body
- Wrist and forearm move up and down to dribble the ball
- Fingers are spread on the ball, the ball has to be pushed to the ground, as it were, and not beaten.
- Dribble height is between hip and knee.
Common mistakes in dribbling:
- Look at the ball instead of across the field
- Hit the ball instead of pushing it
- Fingers not spread, palm on the ball
- No protection other ball
- Dribble height not good
You can correct by means of:
- Show how to properly dribble
- Use dribble glasses
- Kick the ball away

- Don't slap the ball
- Don't look at the ball whilst dribling
- Protect the ball
