Fade away jumpshot

When a player is defended when taking a shot, he can take the leap back. In this way he moves himself away from the defender and can avoid shotblock.

A fade away shot is a difficult shot: the player is not in balance and should compensate for the leap with his arms to reach the basket with the ball. Therefore, this shot is recommended for players who fully control a jump shot.
