Two footed jumpstop

Omschrijving
A two footed jump stop means that the player comes to a standstill with two feet. So first one foot and then the other foot. This is in contrast to a one-stop or jump stop where the player comes to a standstill with two feet at a time. A tweet stop can be performed after a dribble or after a pass
Executing a two footed jump stop
- The ball handler picks up the ball after the last bounce and then lands with his right and the left foot
- Bent knees, body upright and keeping an overview on the court
- The ball is brought to the chest with both hands, the elbows stand out to protect the ball.

- Hold the ball at the right time
- Land first with one foor then the other (right/left or left/right)
- Body must lean backwards to slow down the momentum
