Omschrijving
Spatial orientation is the natural ability to maintain our body orientation and posture in relation to key objects, surfaces and people in the environment. It is the ability to constantly determine your position in space with respect to your envrionment, your teammates, your opponents or the equipment with which you work.
In dynamic team games, conditions can change considerably. There is a continuous interactive change in positions of the players with regard to the court, the ball and other field players.
Split Vision in basketball is an example of this ability: seeing man and ball at the same time, but also reading the defense and reacting on it.
Sensitive period: 12.13 and 14 years for boys and girls!
