Omschrijving
The push pass is a great way to give a pass out of the reach of a defender. The push pass often lacks strength and precision and is often to difficult for young children.
Technique
- Player holds the ball with two hands
- Feet are next to each other
- Player puts the left foot forward
- The ball is “pushed” along the left hand towards the other player
Points of attention
- Try to teach from the triple threat position
- Make the step forward
- The left hand remains on the ball to ensure stability
- Slide the ball past the other hand and try to give “backspin” to the ball.
